SO I went to my audi dealer because my lease is up in Dec and wanted to a) get a copy of my lease agreement and b) see if there was any info on the 08. I have the brochure in hand if ya got any questions. You can no longer order an 07 what they have is what they got. All 08's will have a sunroof, S line package, different rims on the low end A4 (manual FWD), otherwise still the same pricing. As you know tire gauge comes std and extra $$ for certain colors as the 06/07 models

BTW as I noted earlier the 08 looks the same as the 06 and 07 nothing changed there. That will take place in 09/10. Was told the 08 would hit dealers in the next few months july/august.

The steering wheel for example is the same basic one. The only change is rear bumper and front bumper. I am 50/50 on the door pannel where the S has that little lip, I can not tell from the pics or verbalage if it is including.

Audiusa continues to show 2007; when do you think it will switch?

http://www.audiusa.com/audi/us/en2/new_cars/Audi_A4.html</a

With adding steering wheel shift paddles for automatics as "stock", will the R hand shift change as well? Or will you be able to shift up/down with both the paddles and/or the R hand shifter?

http://www.autospies.com/news/Audi-2008-M-Y-Changes-14616/</a

No need to change something like that with the B8 just around the corner.

In June 2008 you will be ordering an '09 model which will be a B8. One year is around the corner to me.

The A5 debuted in March and will land on US soil in September...just six months later.

The Frankfurt debut of the B8 A4 is September.

Audi will no longer have the "year in Europe first" like some past models.

So your brochure shows no paddles? I guess Autospies was wrong.

The new S-line package is now much less $$ and includes the interior items... ie paddle shifters, and trim...

See below - direct quote:

The A4 Sedan and Avant models get a major visual upgrade for 2008 MY. All models have standard S line exterior package consisting of S line bumpers, badges, grille, lower side door trim and S line trunklid (with integrated spoiler). 3.2 models also get standard 18" 5-arm wheels with all-season tires.
Standard equipment has the following additional changes:
- Automatic models get steering wheel shift paddles
- Tire pressure monitoring system added on all models
- Driver information display added on all models
- Sirius satellite radio added to S4 models
- Bluetooth is now standard on S4 models

paddles were quoted as standard equipment. I just picked up the '08 catalouge, and I can't really tell if the new stock automatic models will have paddles or not. One picture shows them present without the s-line, but another does not. I'll just have to wait until my car comes in August.
