View Full Version : How do I get rid of the B7's city lights and will the new ECU recall erase mods like seatbelt chime? MBLocal017 03-02-2007, 06:05 AM Tanner 03-02-2007, 09:57 AM VAG settings and ECU updates are two separate things, so no, if you turned off the seatbelt chime it will remain off. Since switching to Rest-Of-World coding, the city lights now serve as my parking lights, and the only amber lights up front are for turn signals or European "street-side" parking lights. On some codes, such as Canada, the DRLs are on continuously by law. If you can get hold of a VAG-COM you should be able to select from a variety of different lighting standards. Hopefully one will work better for you than the one you have now. I pulled mine insde since I wanted just the clean single light look at night. jack_2.0_b7 03-03-2007, 05:52 AM and the reflash is suppose to fix a possible check engine light |
