Can anyone recommend an Anti-Theft device or after-market alarm system. Is the factory alarm adequate?

My car got broken into anyway and the thieves made off with almost $10k in stereo gear. They stole the Civic parked next to me to haul the gear. That experience made me realize that fancy aftermarket alarms are worthless; if someone is motivated, they'll get your car or your stuff. If they really want it, they'll just flatbed it away.

I'd suggest you save your money, personally.
