I had a rattle/tapping noise from my driver's b-pillar for several months now. It was very intermittent - on some rides it was there, on some it was silent. One clue was that the noise always went away when I opened the rear window. First I tried spraying silicone around the rear window seal (based on a recommendation). That didn't help. Then I found that pressing the rear/top portion of that metal cover plate on the b-pillar outer surface made a similar noise (didn't always do it - I checked this before). I sprayed silicone where that cover plate meets the top edge of the door opening's rubber trim (if you look, you'll know what I'm talking about). For 2 days now, it's been quiet. I think this is the cure for my noise. (Opening the rear window shifts the door frame slightly - changing the pressure on this cover plate. Opening & closing driver's door also impacts this cover plate). Good luck to anyone still suffering from b-pillar noises.<p>Tom<br>1.8TQMS Silver/Ecru
