Had my car dyno-ed last week, just wanted to share the results. I don't have a scanner at the moment, hopefully will be able to upload graph soon.

Run conditions were 81.81 degrees, 29.83bar, humidity 24%

Car put out 173.40 Hp and 181.01 Tq

Obviously, that is to the wheels, but still decent numbers. Car is completely stock 2.0 tip.

For comparison, I had my 1.8t tested on the same dyno, running apr 100 octane program, otherwise stock engine, Temp was 68 humidity was 48 and results were 159hp and 199tq.

I was pretty impressed with the numbers the car out out. I'll have some more dyno runs as I mod the car. I put on my milltek and ecode test pipe this past weekend, so I'm curious what the results will be.

If you take a 28% driveline loss, which is fairly common that would make the following

Wheel = 173.40 x 1.28 = 221.95 crank HP

Wheel = 181.01 x 1.28 = 231.69 crank TQ

That is very nice to see.

It all depends... so hard to say. The key is to take that baseline, and then see what mods do to it.

I can tell you that stock software, test pipe and exhaust - and the car is STRONG!

Someone needs to come out with a decent HFC for this car.

I would assume that it's fair to say that dtl would fall somewhere between 25-30%. I guess that would leave my car between 220 and 235hp. Torque about 10 higher than that.

I really just wanted to be able to see what gains I get when I start the mod process. Hopefully the results will help others by giving them some real world numbers. In addition to the others that are on the forum

base line the car.

But in any event I think we can agree the cars are stronger then advertised.

I think in a way driveline loss decrease as power goes up. But again I am no engineer.

also, where did you get your e-codes?

TIA

No e-codes, ecode test pipe. Although I do wish I didn't have that yellow reflector.

Quoted from Bauer::A55clown,

"If you take a 28% driveline loss, which is fairly common that would make the following

Wheel = 173.40 x 1.28 = 221.95 crank HP

Wheel = 181.01 x 1.28 = 231.69 crank TQ"

Shouldn't the formula be like this?

crank HP x (1 - .28) = wheel HP

or

crank HP = wheel HP / .72

So shouldn't it be

173.40 / .72 = 240.83 crank HP

181.01 / .72 = 251.40 crank TQ

???

Sorry for bringing an old thread back.
