You can read up on my previous LED thread here: http://audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=96648

The passenger side UltraLED 6 LED bulb started flickering so I decided to swap out the existing units with the 'wide angle' version they also sell on the site to see if there is a difference or not.

Here is the UltraLED 6 LED focused bulb

Both of these bulb have a BA9X socket which fits perfectly into the OEM citylight socket

Here is the UltraLED 6 LED 'wide angle' bulb as you can see it looks exactly like the focused bulb but has the tip of the bulb shaved off

The wide angle bulb is on the left, focused bulb is on the right. You can see that shaving of the tips off the LEDs does in fact increase the visible light angle. The wide angle bulbs do help 'light up' the reflector a lot better than most LEDs.

If I recall, friend is using those same ones in his S4. And they don't last as long unfortunately.

i already had changed one after about a mouth b/c of that, the replacement one has only 3 working LEDs again after only a month of use or so... the one on the other side isn't as white/blue as it used to...

i'm going back to the 4 LEDs from autolumination, or whatever the name is, after these ones are done... they seem to be the ones that last the longer even though they seem cheaply built, i.e. they bend easily...
