im thinking of replacing my totaled '06 with an '06 without the tech package. i'm really gonna miss the bluetooth, so im wondering if there is a component that i can swap out of my totaled car into the new one to gain OEM bluetooth. also, is there a way to activate it with vag-com? i see in the '07s there is a seperate option for bluetooth preparation. i know i can buy after market bluetooth stuff to intergrate with my phone but i really like the dialing via steering wheel. im heading to the dealer now to start the negotiations! wish me luck.

If so grap the microphone (inside interiour light) and BT interface (under passenger seat) and get a retrofit harness (Euro-parts.us) to install them in your new car. The interface is about $450, the microphone is about $100, evrything else you need is the harness, a vag-com and some tools.

Ahh, and if the new one doesn't have a DIS (trip computer), grap the wiper stalk as well and activate it in your new car.
