Ok, after 4 years of troublefree motoring, someone decided to make an illegal u-turn right in front of my A4. The insurance company says that it will write it off.

So...I am thniking on my next Audi. I had a 98.5 A4 (B5) for 4 years, then the 2002 A4 (B6) for another four. - See my name? I guess I'm stuck with "4".

My question is this...should I go for the 3.2 this time? My 98.5 with the MTM chip was a blast, but the 2002 was on the slow side, even with the GIAC chip. Too much weight for the little four banger. How is the new 2.0T? Better?

I am thinking on the 2.0T, with Xenon, Bose, S-Line packages.

Any pictures of the quartz and s-line would also be nice.

What do you guys think?

Thanks!!!

As far as the B7, if money isn't a big issue, I'd say the V6 is the way to go. Good luck!

Great engine, great car, great everything. I have Quartz w/Ebony and Walnut and it's really gorgeous. I'll try to find a photo or two, but others will beat me to it, I'm sure.

Sorry to hear about your accident, but it's great that you're fine.

2.0T is the absolute best engine to go with in that car. You save money upfront and on fuel. Put a chip in and it will be faster then both V6 and your old B5. Someone ran 13.9 on a B7 2.0T (not sure what mods, but can't expect it to be much more than exhaust, chip and intake). 13.9 is very acceptable if you ask me.

I love the 1.8T and I'm sure the 2.0T will be great.

I went today and drove the 2.0T. The engine feels the same stock as my 1.8T with the GIAC chip felt. So, I am sure that chipped, will be awesome.

This A4 is going to be close to $8K more than what I paid for mine with the same equipment 4 years ago. Ouch! They have gone up in price.

Basically, I'll be getting:

2006 Audi A4 2.0T quattro 4dr Sedan AWD 4cyl for
WQB S line Package
WPX Premium Package
TBT Technology Package
WB6 Sunroof Package
PXM Audio Package (XM)
8X1 Headlight Washer
Dolphin Gray Metallic
Destination Charge

Total with Options MSRP: $40,985 INVOICE: $37,896 AVG: $40,600

What do you guys think is a reasonable offer to make?

Thanks!

are exactly what I would want to get +Nav & Bluetooth. Oh and I really really like it in RED, but Dolphin gray is also an amazing color!
