I am going to sell my B5 and order a B7 and the dealership (Commonwealth in Santa Ana, CA) said that I can't get my lease rates until my car comes in. By the way, we did agree on a price of only $100 over invoice, which I think is exceptional.
By the way, in my previous post I was mistaken. Apparently the current lease rates for a 2.0T Q6MT for 36mo/15K are a 56% residual and a money factor of .0008.

I would guess that they won't be able to tell you what the rates are because they won't know what they will be until the rates come out for the month in which your car arrives. If you were financing, you could probably lock in the rate, but I doubt that you can do this on a lease.

as other have said, lease money factors and residuals change each month. If you know a target delivery is the current month, then you should be able to get the info. Also if Audi has announced the end of some special promotion then you might think things would change. For example, the current 369/month lease deal on the 2.0T Quattro with Auto and Sunroof is listed as " Must take delivery by April 3, 2006" which makes me think that the lease programs are going to change in April or after April 3rd...now the dealer might be able to provide more info...of you could try the Edmunds owner forums under "A4- lease questions" the hosts of those forums have a lot of that info.

Audi typically has a rate protection program that lets you lock into a rate upon ordering your car. If the rate is better when you take delivery the new rate can be used. Check with your dealer about this.

Agree, this is what we have done on our last 3 AoA leases
In fact, just ordered a new A4 for delivery in June. We were quoted current lease rate, filled out a credit app, dealer submits to AoA - Lease approved = we will get best possible rate when car comes in. On past 3 AoA rate got better and payment went down from time of order to delivery. Hope the same occurs again. If not, can live with the current "locked" rate.
Tell your dealer you want to apply for the lease now and lock in the rate.
