The S Line is replacing the Sport Package. The B6 had the Sport and Ultrasport Package. As you know, two completely different packages. S Line looks to similar to the S4

Maybe, but I doubt it. In my 2005.5, "sport package" only included 17" wheels and sport suspension. Sport suspension is now available as a "sold order only" option when ordering. S-Line on the B7 is sport suspension, 18" wheels, and the S4 body kit. With the exception of badging and quad exhaust the S-Line is the same exterior as the S4.

Maybe the year before the B8 they will offer a seperate body kit and label it ultrasport or something similar?

18 inch Wheels, body kit, side moulding, aluminum trim. Basically, the USP = S-Line.

In the last year of the B6 (2005) they called the USP the S-line and it even came with badging like we see on the B7 S-lines.

I got my username because my b6 was a USP, lol. The name just stuck i Guess.

The options when you build a B7. Selecting the S-Line will give you 18" wheels, aluminum trim, S-Line 3-spoke steering wheel and distinctive front and rear bumpers/spoilers. Similar to the UltraSport option.

When you want the present sport package, simply don't choose the S-Line and the option for a 17-inch wheel and sport suspension will be available. This is similar to the B6 Sport Package.
