Just picked up my new '06 A4 Quattro 2.0 6 spd. man. approximately three weeks ago and have been fighting a rear end vibration ever since. When I hit 70+ mph, I can feel a vibration in the seat of my pants. Car does not have the sport suspension, but does have the 5-spoke 17" wheels with Goodyear Eagle LS2s on them.

Dealer has roadforce balanced all four wheels and replaced the two rear wheels and tires.

Is anyone else experiencing this with their new A4s? Any suggestions are much appreciated. Vibration aside, the car is utterly fantastic!

I had a vibration too like you describe. Dealer road force balanced several times to no avail. Cure came when the tires were actually dismounted from the wheels, all wheel weights removed, tires indexed, mounted, and road forced balanced again.

My car is in for the same problem.

1- Rebalanced - did not fix

2- Now they ordered 2 new rear tires - Outcome unknown yet, tires have to arrive.
