I am looking to swap from an '02 to an '06 A4 and I have a suspension question. One of the '06 options is the sports suspension. Only $250. Does this option lower the car? If so how much? Is the ride significantly stiffer? Thanks in advance.

I think a little less than an inch. It does make the car look a lot better. But if you live in an area with horrible roads or lots of snow then it might not be the best idea. The option also gives you a thicker sway bar and some other things that I'm sure someone here can clear up. As for the ride it doesn't make it that much rougher than my 02 non sport but you do feel that it is different.
