Anyone else have a drivers seat that creaks when your upper body weight shifts from side to side? If so, are any accessible lubrication points or other solutions? Creak seems to originate in the seat back or where it meets teh base.
Thanks, in advance.

I believe it's leather on plastic at the base making the sound. Very common. Don't know if you'd want to treat or lube down there because could have adverse effect on the leather.

The center console also creaks with some car movement. You can flip that back up out of the way to elminate that noise source.

Probably started about 3-4 weeks ago. Can't really tell what is rubbing to cause the creaking and it's driving me nuts.

I have an appointment next week to have the dealership look at it..

Its def. not in the base.

If I shift weight against the right upper portion of my seat it creaks

BTW, were you ever able to get your radio pulled?

I asked the dealer about it the last time that I was in and they said that they would have to replace the frame in the seat. I have yet to have the time to take it back for them to do this.

According to them there is no way to just grease anything.

Mine did the same thing. Had to take it in, they replaced all the seat bolts.
