I wanted to know if it was possible to retrofit an advanced display later model instrument panel on a early model (99 model) B5 A4. I wanted to know if it could be done and what i would need to do it. THanks to all, i hope to hear from you all soon!

Everythings too tightly integrated is my guess.

B7 into a B5, I was talking about a late B5 instrument cluster, like the one in the 2001 S4 and a4s. the display in those is different than mine, i only have regular lights for fuel, oil, etc. and a analog clock. I wanted to know if the connections on the analog/simple display instrument cluster would work, i have an S4 (2001 "facelift" body style) instrument cluster i'd like to put into my 99 (early body style) a4.
