indicating which band it's detecting and from where. If you're familiar with their detector it'll make more sense. The detector is from what I've researched very good however UGLY it is! LOL - they have a remote display you can hook up but it too is just as gross. This device allows the remote output to be displayed right between the gauges and eliminates the need to install their sorry ass remote display.
