Is there an easy way connect the Audi Satellite antenna already on the roof of my A4, to my portable Sirius reciever? The last thing I want to do is stick a crappy antenna next to the one that is made for the car!!!

If you can figure out that stock SAT antenna
has same parameters (input impedance, resistance, gain) as your aftermarket unint required ( which is very unlikely) you probably can do it.
I have not heard about any one done it yet.

i didnt want to spend 500 bucks or so to buy the module from the dealer, so i went out and bought a $50 receiver from Circuit City.
i wasn't able to figure out how to get the stock antena to work, so...
anyway, what i did was put the antenea (which is like 1" by 1" by 1/4") underneath my inspection stickers on my dash. (in PA, the inspection stickers are on the lower left of the windshield). from there, i was able to hide the wire in the corner crack for about 6 inches, then it comes down between the door and fuse box. then i have it go underneath my steering wheel and into the mapholder thing that is there. i put all the extra wire in there too, so it doesnt look messy. then i bring the end with the plug out of the mapholder and bring it over to my ashtray. i sit the reciever in the ash tray and it seems like it was made to fit there. i plug it into the power outlet underneath the arm rest, and then hide the wire between the center console and the drivers seat.
all in all, its not professionally done, but its easy to remove, and install was free.
i hope you can understand what i was tryin to say here

How is the reception??
I thought the antenna had to go on the roof to work well.
