Just wondering if the DRL bulbs are ran at a lower wattage than the low beams at night. What bulbs do they use? I want them as bright as I can get during daytime.

But make sure you get something that draws enough current. Otherwise the computer will throw an error message saying that it see's that the bulb is out. That's what happens when you use a LED 1156 bulb.

I made a post about this a few weeks ago HERE with pics of my yellow "smaller" 1156 micro bulb and the LED 1156 hyper white bulb I put in.

similar to the H7 but not sure. I'm definitely sure they're not the round type connector like the 1156. I have halogens

I don't know what the DRLs are on the halogen headlamps since I never really looked at it. It may be integrated with/as the highbeam like other cars, thus the H7 look or dual filament (2 prong) bulb.
