told them to check the balance of the wheels, alignment, suspension and rotors. Dealer said wheel balancing isnt covered under warranty. I find it very disheartening that i would have to pay to have a problem fixed before make my first car payment. it it keep going this way this may be my last Audi. Car is 3 weeks old and 950 miles.

Do you recall if there was a vibration on the day of delivery?
See down the forum, there's a recent discussion about this.

he demanded that they check the balancing of the tires since his car was only a week old. after putting up a fight, they rebalanced the tires and the vibration went away.

Someone here said the vibrtations many are having with the B7 (I still have it, but milder than when brand new) could be from the rotating mass of the Kong-sized front rotors. Years ago they had shops that would balance the wheels on the car by spinning them while they are mounted, not on a separate machine. In that way, everything that spins (rotors, bearings, half-shafts I guess) would be dynamically taken into account in the balancing process. I don't know if anyone still does that, but it might be the only answer. Just a thought.

or they are too lazy to help. I've had 2 new Audi's and they covered everything under warranty -including alignment
