Vibrant Performance recently made their exhaust available for the B7 A4. We have not had a chance to test it yet, but based on their offering for the S4 I think you will be impressed.
If you are looking for that extra oompf, and more agressive sounds - take a look at this offer.
If you mention this post - you will get $75 off this exhaust. Idea here is that you provide additional feedback to the forum on its performance. And take some pictures and allow us to use them.
Also remember that the price on the web page includes U.S. domestic ground shipping.

B7 A4 2.0T Exhaust

they refer to a true downpipe back sytem as a turbo back. Makes me think this does not include a downpipe in which case this would basically be a B6 exhaust after the downpipe but with relatively small less than 60mm piping. Any word on this? cheers! Mike

What size is the single pipe? I do not know, yet... BTW, APR is also 57mm.

Don't forget a single pipe also only uses a single muffler and a single 3" non restrictive pipe may actually be just as efficient if not more on a 4 cylinder than a dual 3" that is not even a true dual but uses a single 3" or less with more bends, a Y adapter, then smaller pipes and dual mufflers.
It is a good question about the single center section. 2.25" rear duals seem to be popular for the run of the mill setups that are under $1500 and I wonder if that is bc most mufflers are only available in our fitment in either 2.25" or 3" input leaving little middle ground unless you want to build the whole system from the ground up and charge a mint like you know who. I spoke with APR about the possibility of a full dual 3" setup for the B7 and they are a bit interested in at least exploring it as well. So is Thermal. The cliche, bigger is better, seems to hold true when it comes to these cars.
Either way, I agree, it would be nice to know the center section diameter and would also be nice to see a larger than stock DP available. Not meaning to rag on this system at all, just checking that it is the same as any B6 system out there that can be ordered w/o the DP.
cheers! Mike

Good friend of mine, great guy, he was at SEMA. Tall guy? He told me the same thing that this exhaust is more for audible enhancement vs performance.
Though you look at the pipes on the vibrant vs the stock pipes and you have to think that there has to be a bit of performance increase somewhere.

cuz for me, sound could easily make up for a lack of performance in an exhaust

You are welcome to keep the comments on AW, they tend to educate everyone, INCLUDING myself.
StartupRacing's core competency is Penske suspensions, and then other suspension offerings. Exhausts and wheels are more opportunistic - if I like a product and it works well on my car - I may offer it.

I didn't get a chance to record mine, but for me personally, it was too loud in the cabin, though people I gave a ride to liked it a lot and thought I was crazy going back to stock :)

We were suppose to get an audio recording but the guy couldn't meet up in time before the thing came off.
