I am interesting in purchasing a SD card to use with Nav+, but am wondering what would display on the Nav+ and Cluster? I see in the manual that you can choose to display either the file name or an ID3 tag, but the picture also shows that most of the file name is truncated!

If you are playing, as an example "Eagles - Hotel California", do you really only see maybe "Eagles - Hote..." or something short like that on the Nav+ and cluster? Aside from being annoying, that could be a problem when you have a long band name and the song name doesn't even fit on the display.

It's annoying.

Especially if you have an album that is set up so that the band name is in the file name...

Like "Reverend Horton Heat_Eat Steak_08". All you see in the Nav+ display is "Reverend Horton Heat". All you see in the cluster is "Reverend".

The Nav+ has so much potential...but you can tell it was designed by German car engineers and not computer engineers.

That thing should scroll, it should display album art, and even photos off of the SD cards. It should also have more display options. Oh well, it's still pretty nice, but it is frustrating when you think about all that they could have done with it.

I scroll thru my MP3s no problem
I guess i would have to rename song files so artist and song show up in correct place, i would also like to know if you can group different types of music and random play them
if not the chips are getting pretty cheap and could store different genres on each chip
