Ok, I got in my car after dinner tonight, and I noticed that there was some dust on the LCD screen of the radio. So I wiped it off with my finger. As I ran my finger GENTLY across the screen it looked like I was dragging the lit up LCDs with me. The numbers were running, and soon I had a big streak of lit up LCDs!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL???????<p>Anyways, the streak disappears after about 20 seconds, and I can repeat. I am bringing the car into the shop tommorow anyways to try and find out why the hell my mirrors are about 200 Degrees, so I will try to see what the problem is. <p>Anybody else experience this? Thoughts? I also seem to have a permenant dark "smudge" on the uper left hand corner of the Left Climate Control screen.... Anybody else?<p>Stu Koch<br>99 2.8qts

This happens with almost all LCD displays. 'Tis nothing to worry about.<p>I also have a "smudge" on my climate control screen, though it's only really noticeable at night.

The "smudge" you are seeing is actually the icon for the defroster. Turn it on and you should see the "smudge" light up. When the defroster is off it looks like someone put their thumb or finger on the corner of the display.<p>Sean<br>97 1.8Tqm
