Premium, lighting, sport, cold, rear airbags, 35% tint. So much better than my old 2001 A4.

Didn't somebody get the beige with light wood yet? (best combo for a dark car) I now somebody must have.

I'm jealous. My due date got pushed back from May 6 to week of May 9 but the dealer called to say it's current floating on the Atlantic.

Just picked one off the lot, and luck happened that there was one on the lot already but with a few extra options (cold, rear airbags) that somebody backed out of.

Checked another dealer and they too did not have a car with the options I wanted but without the cold/rear. Dealers apparently are bringing in the A4 configured at a specific price point (around $45-$46K CDN).

Black is nice, but the one thing that did jump out was that with the platinum interior, the interior does look a lot more spacious. Still, sucks to be the person to be sitting in the back though :)

Car in the showroom already looked scratched up and fingerprint smears wer eeverwhere on the paint. Inside, well, the solid black is just boring and does make it seem more close, plus the heat factor for the summer can't be ignored. I'm enjoying seeing some pics of something OTHER than black on this board - I don't think I'd seen any before these last 2 cars. So don't begrudge the few that run counter to the me toos ;-).

Nice car, enjoy!

My B5.5 Passat was reflex silver with black leather-classic. I went with what seems to be the ubiquitous quatrz gray exterior and premium platinum leather - had my doubts but was on the lot with the other options I was looking for - 6MT, lights, cold, audio,17"alloys.
After 2 months it has grown on me.
Bravo for platinum - there are several complimentary and contrasting shades of silver/gray on the interior.
For me, it works

to me it seems the color that provides the best match of all of interior components: upper dash, lower dash, headliner, carpet etc. The beige is nice but I can't get past the clash with the dark colored upper dashboard.
