I am thinking of buying a audi b7 need some help deciding if quattro is something i should consider we dont have any snow or ice where i live??? can somebody tell if its worth the extra $$$$.

rain
evasive maneuvers
tire blowouts
curves
high speed stability
maximum traction when racing from a dead stop (i.e. no burn outs)

Sometime about a year ago (I think sometime spring 2004) Automobile mag tested an A4 1.8T w/CVT and the same car with quattro along with a rear drive and 4wd G35. Their conclusions may be just what you're looking for.
