It replaces the red display currently available.
Don't have any pics but you will find it on any B6 S4 currently and pics on AW.

They are hard to get as the demand is not that big on them and depending where you live, well, it might not sell.
Last year we only sold 1 A4 Avant and it was an ordered car.
We get very few inquiries for it; personaly I think it is a shame, but I am European so that might be why! :)
They are more popular on the West and East coasts I believe.

when considering how much the Euro version of these goes for on eBay.de, and that doesn't even include the glove box or the CD Changer...

damn... i need to find someone who want a B7 but not the Nav, to place the order w/ the Nav so that i can take it off his/her hands... lol...

RS4 pricing...well, sometimes next year! :)

The more I think about the fact that the RS4 will likely be pushing 70K well equiped, the more I realize the B7 S4, is where I'll likely go. All in all not too bad of a dilema.

And what will it show i you don't have Nav?? Like, what will be n the screen if there isn't a map??

It will show fuel consumption, mileage to empty, radio station when your changing it

it's your trip computer, but instead of being red like it is on the B6, or B7 without the premium pkg, it will be in color

So basically, if you have the Premium Package, the cd changer will automatically be in the glove box, and you'll get the cool color screen? Didn't know I'd be gettin all of that....hmm, kinda nice!!

Whoa folks. I think this means the display in the middle of the instrument panel (between the tach and the speedo) is now 8 colors, i.e. no longer red only, but capable of displaying 8 colors. It does not mean you will get a display in the center console in the location of the stereo. Unless you order the nav+...

Will the CVT be available with the V6? What is the price of that combo (2WD)? Also, do you have to get the Premium Pack on the 2.0 in order to add the wood trim option? Finally, what color interior can you get with the Vavona wood in the 2.0? Thanks for any info! The B7 is becoming more and more tempting!

Thanks alot....cause I didn't want the big display anyways since "im not gettin Nav+. I guess I'm one of the few people that typically knows where I'm going.. And I don't think the payback value of having the Nav+ would just ify my getting it... Plus, an in-dash 6-CD changer is soooo much better!!

this will most likely be available this fall as a 2006 model along with the 3.2 Manual.
Not sure if you need the Premium Package to get the Vavona. i don't think you do, but then again...but you do have to order it if you want the Lighting package.
This wood will be available with the Beige interior. Dark Walnut will be available with Platinum or Ebony.

This changer will move to the glove box if you order Nav+.
The red driver's information display will now be color REGARDLESS if you have Nav+ or not.

Are you saying they were optional in the U.S.?

Homelink is to device to open your garage door; it is found on your sun visor.
The multi function wheel will control, radio, CD and all the information found on your trip computer in front of you.
The color display also called trip computer will show you things such as: what is playing on the radio/ CD, outside temp, range until empty on gas. It can also show you average mpg, average mph, how long you've been driving...
It will also show you anything that is wrong with the car from out of gas to precisely which light bulb is out...

Ok, this is really weird. The email I just got from Audiworld says everything you just said, but the last sentence was changed to say Vavona is with the Beige and black interior. What is what?? I'm so confused now! LOL
