Lets see...a loaded B6 A4 1.8T is $37K..so with a 5% increase..that makes it $1850 more..or almost $39K for a loaded B7 A4 2.0T. Kinda expensive I think.

Cars will be released in the next week to 10 days.
There will be about a $2000 price increase on the 2.0 but the 3.2 will go up less than $1k.
Premium package on the 2.0 is about $2k which is what it is right now.
That is all the information that I have so far.

But the ratio of cars sold with the Ultra Sport soon to be S-Line, is small compared to the regular ones.
As I said above, some of the options seem to be price close to the current ones.
Price increase yes, but also get more stuff standard: Servotronic, multifunction steering wheel, new suspensions....
Also more options are available.
Audi no longer wants to be compared to Acura/ Volvo....
Ask our Euro counterparts how much they paid for their Audi. You will see that ours our a real bargain!! :)

I'm going to check it out this weekend. Pardon my dumb question, but is there going to be an Ultra Sport at launch? Or will there be a 2 or 3 month wait?

It won't be available until Fall of this year.
HOWEVER, there will be a Kit available right at launch that will be quite cheap and will be similar to the S-Line package.

"There will be about a $2000 price increase on the 2.0 but the 3.2 will go up less than $1k."
-----------
Isn't that because the b6 1.8's have a lot less than the 3.0's? Considering what you're getting on the b7 2.0's. . . .
Very interesting for those of us who are too impatient to wait until Fall for the S-Line package. Any other info you had would be great, Alex. I'm assuming then that the only major differences are the rims and leather wrapped wheel and knob?

I think one reason is because of the A3.

But it is only partially perforated, so there might be more of it.
The S-Line will come with BBS CH style wheels on it and the body kit will also be slightly different than the kit being offered by Audi.
The kit that I mentioned will be about $1,400 + paint and install.
