Well, that would be great... And I fall in line with this thinking. I talked to the local Audi dealer here and it makes me laugh as he agreed that the price may increase as high as was stated with the lease offerings not coming for quite some time (referencing the new A6). But the thing was, he was encouraging me to take advantage of the 2005 A4 SE Lease Program. So I basically told him that I'll give it till mid-June. After that, BMW (3-series) and Mercedes (C230) will definitely climb up the ladder. Yeah, I really want the new A4 (I've had an obsession with the thing since I found out they were coming out with a new design), but I refuse to pay $517...I mean the 5-Series is being offered at $499. And yeah, performance and all these things count, but ummm....I'm not trying to pay rent-type money for an A4... So, like I told the local dude...we'll see what happens from here on out... AoA could be making it's biggest mistake ever if it does execute the large price increase. And no, at rent-money prices, the A4 is NOT worth the price of admission... just keeping it real... Humble beginnings make you see reality..

This is great news!! Because I was just telling Mr. Audi Dealer that I might have to seriously look at the C230 or 3 series.... Now I can go back to looking at the options packages. See, I shoulda just stuck with what AlexTTQ said... Woulda kept my blood pressure down...haha

28 + dest + premium package+sound+sport pkg+color+whatever! AROUND 35K ! =)

considering the options that I am getting on it:
Premium, Lighting, Sport, Power shade and manual side shades, NAV+ (that should be $1,950 since it is the same as the Allroad and A4 Cab and that is the price imposed on them), Metallic Paint (Quartz Gray), Headlight Washers.
Without Nav it will most likely be about $1-$1.5k more than a 2005 model, but More power, more features......than the B6 came with.
