maybe with the RS4, and that is a big maybe.
The A3 Sportback however will have it with both the 2.0 and the 3.2

Get a Euro one if you don't want it! :)

However, in two or three years, Audi plans to completely phase out the tiptronic trnamsissions and replace them with DSG transmissions (six speed DSG for transverse engine layouts, seven speed DSG for longitudinal engine layouts) throughout the lineup worldwide. DSG transmissions are promised to be far more reliable than the tiptronic transmissions are, although the six speed tiptronic seems to be far more reliable than the five speed tiptronic is (or was).

Having had 3 multitronic A4s (2.0, 3.0 and 1.8T) and a TT with 6-speed Tip, I *definitely* prefer the Tip. It is more responsive and can be calibrated (in the case of the TT) for a very sporty, almost manual-like behaviour.

Multitronic is just too smooth for me. Whilst in Tip mode gear changes are quick, I find it is too smoothing, particular on the 2.0 where is seems to sap too much power.
