I've had my 2006 s4 for about 2.5 years now and I wanted to provide you guys with a quick review. With over 53k miles already on the car, I have been lucky to have only dealt w/ several minor problems. But first, let me start off with some positives. I don't drive too aggressive (already have a couple of speeding tickets on my record) but over the last 20k miles, I've averaged 20-21mpg. Not bad at all for a V8. I've always had my oil changed every 5k miles. Everything has been excellent since the day I picked it up @ the dealership. The only two problems were the right passenger window regulator (which was replaced and corrected) and the xenons. When my car was under warranty, the service refused to change/repair my headlights even though the left side was way brighter than the right side. Occasionally, I will get a "dipped light" signal which will prompt me to pull over, turn off my car and lights... restart it and hope the light doesn't "dip" again. This has been extremely annoying. What can I do? What are the causes of this? This tends to happen when I first start my car and as I'm driving, the lights will flicker, which eventually leads to the right side (sometimes the left as well) to completely lose its illuminesence, hence the "dipped" signal.
Also, do you guys know of any Audi maintenance shops in the LA/OC area (preferably OC)???
When do I get a tune up?
Brakes/pads replacement?
Timing chain replacement?
Battery replacement?
Thanks for the read and I look forward into hearing any input/answers.
Btw, I've consulted my maintence book and haven't been able to find the answers to my questions.
