You will love dialing them in. I have mine at 10 clicks from the firmest at the front wheels, 7 from the firmest at the rear, and 5 from the firmest up top.

Just wondering why you shipped the car 1100 miles, flying out to drive it back....

Or can the SLs go higher?

when installed, the SL's "at the maximum ride height" provide a 1/4" drop over the oe ride height. From there, you can lower the car an additional 3/4". The SL's have a 3/4" range of adjustment.
Simply put the maximum overall ride height after SL installation is 1/4" <lower> than the oe ride height. You have nowhere to go but <down>.

If you are buying the car this way, having the dealer pay for the install of these products, how can you possibly give a review of them if you are unable to campare them to the drivability of a stock S4?

and I'm sure the ride quality won't suffer too much because it's not low, low, low.

I was curious as to his "exact settings." Although, 1/4" drop may not be that bad at all. Just depends on if it's an OE ride quality.

Yesteday Seattle to Portland and today Portland to Redding / Today we hit rain, hail and snow (and we were actually snowed on) / About eight hours(due to a couple "fun" stops) and 420 miles in the car today and this suspension ROCKS! Bad weather, bad roads and the car stays composed, tight yet remains very comfortable...a full day in the car we are not tired or uncomfortable from all that sitting / Heading out for dinner, drinks and the casino

Thanks Stasis, Thank Hartmann!!

drop will be 1/4-3/4 depending on car, application etc...and you can go lower from there-again may be wrong on that point

You have an total of 1/2" adjustment down from that point. Therefore, ride height can be anywhere from 1/4" to 3/4" lower than oe.

click this

thats what threw me off...it didnt much matter to me because I just wanted the tires at fender height and not tucked...so it worked fine for me...however simply based on the wording it seems that they are indicating that 1/4 to 3/4 is the minimum drop...which left me to assume that if that was the minimum the maximum would be more???

I measured the threads for the adjuster collar and it confirms the 1/2" of threaded portion. :)

The entire body of the front shocks are threaded. In the rear the perch has a more limited range of about 1.5-1.75".
