from my '04 B6 S4. Can anyone who has purchased very recently give me an idea how much you paid above invoice? Seems $800 - $1200 over invoice is a decent deal based on what I read here?
I'm looking for a tip, please no flames :) How long should I expect for delivery from time of order? Any good images online to see real world colors?

I'm not sure they are taking orders anymore, someone else can clarify that

Why would you want a B7 S4, which is pretty close to what you are currently driving, when you could just drive the current car a little longer and put an order in for a NEW B8. Plus you will have a newer model that is worth more in the future .

but heard from several dealers about lack of allocations, lack of the US getting them (mostly going to Europe), 4.2 V8 shortages, etc, the upshot being I would need to wait like 6 months for a new car. I'm looking to buy now.

I recently test drove a 3.2 TT and the DSG gearbox is awesome. I love driving the manual in my B7 S4 but if the DSG option was available, I would've gotten it in a heartbeat.

if the new s4 is a biturbo with dsg and a sunroof that might just make the choice for me when it's time to retire my m5.....i'm taking endless s**t for downgrading the s5 because of the roof, but it's an important feature to me. plus hopefully the biturbo s4 will be a 'bit' more efficient than the s5...
