What type of performance increase are you guys getting with basic mods (exhaust, chip, and shifter)?

Not many mods available. Performance upgrades are moderate at best.

What can we get, MAYBE 30-40hp increase with K&N, Chip, DP and exhaust...

None of the manufacturers are posting dyno results. That tells me they are not seeing gains that justify the price of the hardware. I would be shocked to see more than 15-20 real wheel HP gains based on everything I've read and seen.

The B5s are much more "tunable". Turbos lend themselves easily to added performance since small boost increases result in major power.

But as SonomaDriver mentioned, some people may not justify the price of those mods for the amount of performance you get from them. However, until a supercharger comes out, these are the only things available.
