any one try both - mostly dry driving here but some rain - and occaisional light snow.

Nothing like the stock Contis. I have had them for almost 2 yrs. Tire rack gives them a high rating. I would rate them very close to the Pirellis. Michelins cost more but are not significntly better than those listed.
