I had the AVIC-Z1 installed last week. This thing is B-E-A-utiful. Great features. records CDs, maps are very nice, 3d views..blah blah blah. I ran into one issue that I was curious if anyone has experienced yet. I had my car serviced that they reset the maint. log. They noted that since I installed an aftermarket unit that it disabled my diagnostics. so now i don't get a reminder of when my next maint is, and the car can't do a self check. Is there a fix for this....minus puting the stock head unit back in?
