Has anyone ever put a hitch on the back of an S4 Avant and pulled a small boat?

Just trying to eek out a bit more functionality if I end up going this route.

I had an option of getting a mount that could handle more, but it would have ended sticking out too far. mine is just for bikes.

It's not a big boat, mind. Probably 1200lbs all up with trailer and I only tow it short distances, infrequently.
