The front fender looks terrible. It looks like Audi borrowed Bangle from BMW for the design. If true, this is further proof that designer are sheep and that no matter how ugly they make the BMW's, people will still copy them. Look at the new Lexus for further evidence of this.
BTW, thanks for the post.

the age old clean look of Audi's. I can't tell if they're going for a German, Japanese, or British look. But an Audi it looks not. Their recent concept cars should have made this no big surprise. Too bad Audi feels that in order to make it more exciting, it has to look gaudy.

I'm still holding out for hope that Audi can get the new front ends to look cleaner and more elegant with the next generations, if staying with the new 'corporate' schnoz.

the grill still is a huge miss for me. If it was a little smaller and slanted back into the hood more, it might look ok.

I'm sure whatever the B8 looks like, it will eventually grow on me.

Like it. Watched the Roadjet on the Travel channel the other night and really like the direction Audi has been moving toward during the last few years...
I've had Audis pre-A4 and it seems that the lines of the old models, (i.e. Ur Quattro) are finally being realized again in the new cars. In my opinion, they are finally putting the emotion in the car that they have long been missing while still retaining the clean look that they are known for. The front grill while controversial, is the best thing they could have done to form a recognizable corporate face. The problem with cars pre-2005 is that they didn't have the undistinguishable "up-market" (image)look that is needed to compete with the competition. Thanks in large part to the China Market, Audi got bold and world-wide sales are doing better than ever.
