IF you get it done by a VERY good shop - no. You will barely notice it. Just be carefule when you wax the car. If not a good shop - it will look horrible. I brought mine to a shop that specializes in Ferrari's & probably paid much more than another shop - but the finished product was worth it. Make sure you see several examples from the shop

You can see mine at certain angles, but it is well worth it, especially on a black car. My previous car was black and it ended up having tons of very visible ding marks on the front by the time I got rid of it.

You will see it more than on silver. you could delete the hood piece, which is the most visible. The others pretty much conform to the body lines.
I have no regrets but I live in the Northeast and the car gets pummelled by debris, especially in the winter. The bra does make bug kills come of easier, more relevant to you in Florida.

You will see it. If your other cars have done okay without it and you are driving the same roads, you can save the money. Use the lanka kit to fix the occasional chip. If you last car has Noriega face, like my outgoing BMW has, then you need this thing.

I personally do not like seeing it on the hood when I am close to the car. But, then I realize that I have no chips on the front of my car and I have 9000+ miles on it. I wish I could say the same for my windshield though. :) So, I would rather have the clear bra than the chips on my Audi.

Also, I second the opinion of the other poster. Make sure you go to a very good shop or you will be unhappy. The clear bra can start peeling up or bubbling which would be very ugly.

also tend to discolor or become cloudy over time...especially if not garaged. Choose the make and installer very carefully, IMO.
