Been thinking about getting an S4 for a few months now and have a few questions for you all if you don't mind. The dealer is offering me $7500 off list price today - do you think if I wait till next week (2006) they will be able/willing to do any better? The car has 100 miles on it. This seems like a very good deal - anything I should be aware of before I pull the trigger? Any and all help and guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul

That's pretty good... What are the color combination and options? I know dealers give more discount on the MT.
I am looking for an AT and best offer I got is $6500 off.
What state are you in?
I just got a very good deal on a 05.5 Sprint Blue AT from Chris at Mission Viejo Audi. He is on the board as well. Try shoot him an email at chris.aud@audimv.com

I've heard in the past that car dealers typically want to unload inventory before the end of the year so that it doesn't go on their books for the year - which will be detrimental tax wise. Don't know if that's true, but it sounds plausible. If so, the dealer may not be as motivated after Jan 1 and you may not get as good a deal.
It sounds like a good discount to me...

if you are going to be financing, expect the rate to be crappy, so that 7500 in savings isn't true.

thanks for everyones input. sorry for not responding back to you Epoints (AT,Silver,Premium pkg.,Audio pkg w/ Sirius,5 spoke wheels, Carbon fiber trim) but I thought it was a remote possiblity you were going to get it before I made up my mind.
to answer the other questions: I'm not financing it with the dealer and I'm not trading in current car

No sweat, Paul... I probably would have done the same. I was looking for different option combination anyway...
Now, you have gotten your deal...can you tell me if they still have other 2005.5 available?
Help out your fellow would be s4 owner...
