Been thinking about getting an S4 for a few months now and have a few questions for you all if you don't mind. The dealer is offering me $7500 off list price today - do you think if I wait till next week (2006) they will be able/willing to do any better? The car has 100 miles on it. I've heard in the past that car dealers typically want to unload inventory before the end of the year so that it doesn't go on their books for the year - which will be detrimental tax wise. Don't know if that's true, but it sounds plausible. If so, the dealer may not be as motivated after Jan 1 and you may not get as good a deal.

if you are going to be financing, expect the rate to be crappy, so that 7500 in savings isn't true.
