I picked it up late in in the day, so not much time for pictures, and I didn't want to drive it much since I'm getting a clearbra installed tomorrow morning.
The new features like Daytime Running lights, steerable headlines, the RNS Nav & bluetooth are all amazing. The rest of the car is pretty much like my old one, except for the longer nose and the bigger trunk :-)
I've got a Sirius Satellite Receiver and Ultrasport-sal Satellite radio/iPod/Phatbox combo cable from the B6 S4 for sale in the classifieds.

more pix....

I can't wait to see it in person!
Greetings from sunny space coast florida where I'm on vacation. There are very few audis down here -- I saw one A8L in a week and no A4s or A6s that I can recall.
I saw two Cadillac CTS-Vs, which I have yet to see in the Boston area where we live.
I'm driving a rental Cadillac DTS (not too bad) and feeling very much like a local!

I ordered a car almost identical to this a month ago. Your photos have vindicated my choice.
When was your order date, if you don't mind me asking?

Nice Elise....my dream track car...
No phatbox included....i've just the cable that lets you mix a 2nd cd source (changer, ipod or phatbox) with the Sat Radio).

my B6 was one of the first in the country, and by it's second birthday had spent 73 days in the shop.
The car was eligable under the lemon law the 3rd month I owned it, but I let Audi talk me out of lemoning it....After it was pretty obvious the car would never be reliable, I went back to Audi and asked them to replace the car. Audi agreed to take it back and I got the B7 instead. I wanted an avant last time, but was stupid and couldn't convince myself it was worth the extra money. This time, I didn't make that mistake :-) I just wish I could have gotten nogaro!
I have to say I'm 100% happy with the way Audi stood behind their product. I didn't have to raise a fuss (I guess 73 days out of service speaks for itself).

I'll have to check the paperwork, but I think the order finally went to Audi from the dealer at the beginning of November (waiting for an allocation), and the car was pulled for production around mid-november. I've got the paperwork in the car and I can check for sure....
I really like the way the avant balances out the new nose, and imola is pretty sweet. I just hope it's not a cop magnet!

I will bring it to the winter driving schools, but the spec Miata will be my track beast.
The Audi's just too expensive to run at the track (tires and brakes are insane), and I didn't want to deal with possible warranty issues like I had to with my B6 (such as breaking both CV joints at the track).

I answered this in another post, but basically the car was a lemon and was taken back by Audi. The B7's the replacement.

thanks! we'll have to get together when you get back....
did you sign up for the winter driving school in January?
It's weird when you get away from the Northeast. This is truly Audi Country. Elsewhere, they're much rarer....
