The UK website offers a crimson red interior seat option. Not on the US order sheet. I understand you can order any audi exterior color you want even if not on the order sheet - for a price.
Is such an option avialable for interiors?

Yes, but mere mortals cannot afford it. Or, if you can afford it, it would stick in your craw to buy the car for $50,000 and pay an extra $5K for the color you want, that is, elsewhere, priced no higher than other optional interiors.
I wanted Amaretto -- and Panther Pearl cost about as much as the car itself. Well, not really, but it sure seemed that way.
Thanks.I heard the paint was about $2K, but like you said, they are already offering/manufacturing it for the UK, so it should not cost that much.
Looks like Cincinnati weather is pretty much the same as Chicago, although we don't have snow. My wife's allroad is comcomfortable for getting to grandma's house for Christmas!
Happy Holidays
... But like any special order, interior color and trim deviations from the U.S. list have some special rules.
First (and most importantly) The order has to be approved by AoA distribution. There approval is essential to get a special order placed and processed regardless of what Audi AG offers. Subsequently, there is no appeal to a higher authority if AoA rejects a special order.
The sticker (and invoice) price for any special order options, including interior trim color and material, won't be finalized until the car is received at the port. If you can't live with that, don't bother with a special order. Be aware, the option price will be based on the home market price for the option (less VAT) in Euros converted at the rate on the day of the car's arrival at it's port of entry into the United States. As for which rate I have no idea.
The dealer from whom you order had better be well-versed as to all of the ins and outs of the special order program.
But concerning a B7 S4, current plans call for holding color and trim special orders until KW42 (production week 42) of 2005.
Thanks alot. Sounds like the dealer you have worked with is well-versed. Aren't in Chicago are they?
... how well versed they are in regards to special orders, I believe it's a case where we were educating each other. With a lot of help from the guys in Auburn Hills and Ingolstadt.
Take it from there.
Thanks Happy New Year.
Yep. They've been great to work with. Never had a problem with 'em as a matter of fact. But I've heard that mine is a unique situation from some other folks who seem to share your opinion.
