using the speaker-level inputs straight from your power amp often provides the best integration. (but if using an HT receiver/processor, make sure to set the L/R speakers to 'Large')

It's usually how the subwoofer and processor integrate that pushes you more in one direction than the other. Try whichever is easiest and see what happens.
