Also I bought one of these. On top of doing the job it was designed to do, I will use it as a video switcher because I don't have an HDMI pre-amp.

Window were located within the room and they came up with a plan with the panel size and location to be installed.

As for the equipment, the rear channel uses another pair of DSP500s. For a digital pre-amp I use the Meridian 562V and a 565 for a surround decoder. That's the old 500 series from Meridian but it is still outstanding. The only thing missing are HDMI inputs and outputs but I don't really care at this time. I also have a Meridian 602 transport (this one I'll never get rid of).

For TV/theatre application I have a Bell ExpressVu Hi Def Sat receiver, a Toshiba XA2 HD DVD player for movies and soon a Sony PS3 for some gaming and BR movies. I also have a Sony PS2 which I will keep because the PS3 will be (most likely) the 40 GB version. To control all the video inputs, reduce noise and have a single HDMI output to the projector I just bought the Algolith Mosquito. Speaking of the projector I bought a new Runco RS900 which is waiting for me at my audio shop.

For rumble effects I have four Clark Synthesis Tactile transducers that are powered by one Audiolab amp with 180 wpc (stereo) and two Marantz Mono Blocks, the MA500 also 180 wpc (mono) each.

Lastly I have already started auditioning sub woofers. I'm looking at the Velodyne SPL 1200R or the DD12. The JL Audio F112 and the REL 305R are also going to be listened to. If I decide on the REL 305R or Velodyne SPL 1200R then I would buy two of those. The others being pricy I would buy one initially and a second later on. Also there is a possibility that I give a serious listen to the Wilson Watch Dog. Two problems with that sub; one is its price even used which I can get from the audio shop I deal with (they took one on a trade in), two its sheer size. It may not fit in my room!

The audio rack that stacks all the equipment is a Target. However I modified it by filling its hollow tubes with silica sand and the regular press wood shelves (cheap) are replaced by 3/4 inch thick granite ones. This makes the rack a lot heavier/beefier with more mass and help potential vibration issues.

Interconnects are going to be from Transparent. I think that's about it.

BTW, for the panels I had the choice to make them myself or have them made.
