WTF?! I bought it off eBay as a "brand-new, A-stock" item, but when I hooked it up to my Onkyo TX-SR705 there was no sound. I nearly shat in my pants at the thought that I got ripped off. Well after talking to an authorized repair facility the guy walked me through some ways of testing it. He even suggested taking the woofer out and seeing if it was disconnected. Well, what do ya know? ...it was!

What teh hell kinda of quality control is this? ...or could it have somehow jarred loose and disconnected in transit?

i'll need to play around with the positioning because it doesn't seem too much improved over the subwoofer that was part of a Sony 5.1 speaker set i have.

hooking up there speakers with 100-5k speaker wires only for the wires inside to be 18awg.
