No, Magnolia was originally a regional chain, like Tweeter, Sound Advice, or Ultimate Electronics. They were bought by Best Buy a number of years ago and that's where you get the Magnolia stores within Best Buy. The free standing stores still have higher end product a more knowledgeable staff to go with it.
