Quite a bit more than monoprice, but who isn't? This one looks nicer if that makes you feel better :)<ul><li><a href="http://www.aperionaudio.com/product/Aperion-HP-Subwoofer-Cable-5-meter,51,39,154.aspx">aperion 5 meter</a></li></ul>

<a href="http://bluejeanscable.com/store/subwoofer/index.htm">good subwoofer cable</a>

Great thing about this cable other than the quality is that you can specify length.

If you don't need anything too flexible to snake around corners and furniture, by all means go RG6 with RCA connectors.

terminated at the end with rca ends. instead of a line level wire. the whole reason for using the rg6(75 ohm) is to keep interference to a minimum, and using a quad shield helps even more.

use a regular rf end on both sides.

if your using wall plates on both sides get two RF TO RCA ends. and connect the sub via a 1 ft sub.

or just terminate the ends with RF compression fittings and use the screw on rf to rca.

I have been to way to many houses with the crap rca compression fit connectors on the rg6 wire and they either have no sub, or lost a color on a component setup using 3 rg6 wire. all due to the poor contact within the fitting.

From an installers point of view, that cable can be a bitch to work with in tight spaces like behind a receiver.

I know Belden makes some pretty stiff ones that are supposed to be great for audio but suck for bending. I forget the model number. I think it was either 1694 or 1505.

doesn't matter with the long wavelengths of analog audio (like to a subwoofer). I've always thought that the whole 75 ohm matching thing was only crucial with the high frequency requirements of video signals and digital audio.

Or do I have that concept all wrong?

but its the same thing. thats all i meant.

running a line level wire is better but cost more and is more labor intensive(soldering the ends). You cant really tell the difference either. but if your a purist th best way to run is with a linelevel wire and solder the ends
