I've only been listening for about 20 minutes, but so far its pretty meh. I love the older NIN.

But thanks for the PSA, legal free music is always very much appreciated!

I had the house to myself this afternoon and let the system stretch its legs and enjoyed it for the most part. I think the #1 and #3 tracks are forgettable, the rest was interesting.

Head Down is definitely the highlight for me, with a nice torture test of room and system+sub EQ response.

Not saying it's the case with yours, but I've found recent NIN material to be very demanding and it will definitely expose underpowered/mismatched/unbalanced systems.

I will agree that his music has matured with his audience, but it is very complex and the deliberate-ness, if that is even a word, and attention to detail are off the charts. To the untrained, or uncaring ear, it cannot be completely appreciated. The With Teeth tour was unbelievable. One of the best concerts I have ever been to. I have always liked NIN but didn't really start to truly appreciate them until the Fragile album.

I'm sorry but With Teeth is a lazy record, especially after a 5 year hiatus.
