somewhere else.

This is why I take this hobby to the extent I do. Music can do wonderful things. It helps to find out which music really does it for you first. Then you just need to hear it on a really nice system that stimulates your ears enormously. Then you just have to set about saving up for such a system.

This is why I can take or leave movies. They are fun to watch when the occasional decent movie is released. But you don't get to go where music can take you.

and a 10k turntable, listening to a jazz band play.

i positioned the speakers how i wanted them and closed my eyes and listened.

this was RIGHT when I was the head FOH engineer at a jazz club. It sounded like i was right next to the stage and i could reach out and grab the sax player!!!!

And what would be the first album you'd listen on them once they are set-up, run-in and you have a couple of hours to spare?

at least that's not what I use it for...background noise or something to listen to while I nap on the patio.

Listening to my dedicated system is something else entirely, it's a place to decompress...to experience the music not just hear it. It's a way to escape for a little while, something the quality of a whole house system would not allow.

Some ppl don't get it...I know.
