At the risk of invoking the wrath of the cognoscenti that frequent this forum, I need to replace some very small speakers that are used for background music in our living/dining room area. The speakers that have been in this spot for the past 12 years were about 10" tall x 6" wide x 5" deep, 2-way.

I don't want in-wall speakers, but rather something that can hang on the wall. Oh, and they must be either white or silver in order to pass the wife-acceptance-test. I've seen the Athena WS-15s, which look like a decent possibility, except that the grilles are black.

Anybody have any reccomendations?

They come with wall mounts, are efficient (87db 8 Ohm) sound very dynamic and detailed with real clarity and work with a wide range of receivers/amplifiers. Choose your color.

No longer in yellow, but there's two wood finishes and a white to go with black and silver.<ul><li><a href="http://www.monitoraudiousa.com/product.php?application=&amp;range=4&amp;product=25&amp;area=3">Monitor Audio USA</a></li></ul>

as decoration/architecture, than plain ol 'speakers' that you're trying to camouflage.
