hit or skip?

I plan on using this with Mirage Omnisat V2 satellites and V2 center channel. I've swayed from the Mirage S10 subs because the stats/features on this Polk seem more appealing. I haven't heard any of the subs though...not sure if an local stores carry it.

Also, this Polk sub is down-firing which means my 1yr old daughter can't poke her fingers into the grille! =P

But the downfire of the Polk is appealing given the toddlers fingers being curious.
Polk subs are okay, but Mirage are better at making subs than they are at making speakers.

So hard to tell how a component will work in your room.

BTW, I have a downfiring HSU &amp; front firing Mirage in there. 5 x 12 inch total. The 2nd story opens up to the rest of the house...
