I have a Rega Brio 3 and Radio 3 from recommendations on this forum, still using an old Denon CD player until I find a deal on a Rega Planet 2000.
In the mean time, I would like to upgrade my interconnects and found many recs. for Blue Jeans Cable. I don't really want to spend more than $100 for two sets of cable, one for CD, one for tuner.
For my application, should I get the LC-1, 1505F, or 1694A? The cost difference is negligible.
Otherwise, is there another brand I should look at?
I may buy new speaker wire from Blue Jeans as
well.<a href="http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/speaker/index.htm">
any feedback on any of the different models?</a>
I am using Paradigm mini-monitors
Thanks in advance!<ul><li><a href="http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/audio/index.htm">http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/audio/index.htm</a</li></ul>

Given your budget I would suggest grabbing a soldering iron and ordering the parts from somehwre like Takefiveaudio in Canadia.
You can make some very nice interconnects with the parts they have to offer.
Try silver wire, teflon tubing, 4% silver solder, shrinktube and some nice RCA terminations (Eichmann are very good, WBT are easy to work with.
With this you can make interconnects that'll make Blue Jeans cables sound unremarkable.
Rega is quality audio, well worth the effort for something better than Blue Jeans. It's not that I think BJ cables are not good, it's just that they are better suited to HT where the differences aren't so obvious for people who mostly watch movies. Your system is more than capable of revealing the the benefits of something better.
Speltz 'Anti-cables' will work well for speaker cable with Rega and Paradigm (easy to find with google).
If you want to bring your Denon CD player to life, try adding a Lite Audio DAC60. I have one on the end of my Denon CD player (DCD-1650AR) and it makes CD sound wonderful (smooth, warm and expansive).<ul><li><a href="http://www.takefiveaudio.com/mall/shopdisplaycategories.asp?id=1&cat=DIY+Supplies">Take Five Audio</a></li></ul>

I am going to buy/borrow a soldering iron and follow your suggestions for making cable.
In terms of the DAC, I don't think it's worth springing for with the CD player I have now.
I am hoping to get a 2nd hand Rega Planet 2000 in the 450 range, it will complete my system for now.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audioreview.com/mfr/denon/cd-players/PRD_117255_1586crx.aspx">This is the Denon I have now, bought on ebay for less than $100, 4 years ago</a></li></ul>

Yes you can do better, but I can't hear it. When I bought my macs the dealer threw in a high end set of balanced cables and rca's which I used for awhile until I had to rearrange things and needed a longer run between the pre and power amps, went with bjc and honestly I'm extremely happy for what I spent. A lot of people give me a hard time for linking together my kind of gear with ~$50 worth of cable but I stand by it.
Respect to those who can tell the difference...
I'm using their speaker wire, xlr balanced between pre/power, rca between cd, tuner and pre.
