Come to daddy.

I love my A2 (got it for $89) -- but I want to put it in my Man Cave and get an XA2 for SD and HD DVDs in my main viewing room.

thought about selling mine but now it seems like it would make a nice collectors' item.

I have an A2 -- which I really like and have very little money in it.

The XA2 would be a nice upgrade (get 1080p/24) and get the HQV for my legacy DVDs.

I would never spend $400+ on a source component (that wasn't a game system -- and even then I hesitate). I paid $89 for my A2 and got 8 free HD DVDs. I got good value for that. If the XA2 got to $250 I would pick one up for the above reasons. In my mind there has never been a better time to get an HD DVD player.
